About the VALD Marketing Team

VALD’s Marketing team is a group of skilled professionals across various fields.

The team includes designers, videographers, editors and marketing specialists, but also experienced industry professionals such as physiotherapists, strength & conditioning coaches and sports scientists. We leverage their experience to create content that is relevant and engaging for our clients and potential clients, with the goal of making technology more accessible and impactful in their day-to-day practice.

We work intimately with the broader VALD business – Product Strategy, Manufacturing, Engineering, Commercial and Finance – helping to shape the client experience and the overall public perception of VALD.

Our goal is not simply to hit our numbers but to elevate VALD’s reputation as an innovator and thought leader in the health and performance industries.

About this role

This is a mid to senior-level, permanent, full-time position based in the United States.

At VALD, events are a critical part of how we connect with clinicians, researchers, sports scientists, performance professionals and customers around the world.

You will work closely with our global marketing team and regional commercial teams to coordinate conferences, workshops, customer events and flagship VALD-owned events, while also supporting regional marketing initiatives.

You will serve as a key link between HQ located in Brisbane, Australia, regional operations and commercial teams, ensuring projects and events are delivered to the highest standard.

What you will Do

Working as part of VALD’s global marketing team, you will support the execution and optimization of digital marketing initiatives across paid media, campaigns, content and digital channels. You will work closely with the Marketing Manager and wider team to help drive awareness, engagement and lead generation across our brands.

Working as part of our passionate marketing team, you will:

Industry Conferences, Exhibitions and Workshops:

  • Coordinate VALD attendance at industry conferences, exhibitions and workshops.
  • Work closely with Business Development Managers and regional teams.
  • Manage registrations, travel and accommodation.
  • Coordinate booth logistics, shipping, merchandise and marketing collateral.
  • Liaise with venues, suppliers and event organizers.

VALD Owned Events:

  • Coordinate delivery of VALD-owned events, and other regional events and workshops.
  • Source venues, speakers, suppliers, catering and production partners.
  • Coordinate attendee communications and registrations.
  • Track budgets, timelines and project milestones.
  • Coordinate between HQ marketing and regional stakeholders.
  • Support on-site execution and post-event analysis.

Regional Marketing Support:

  • Support regional Business Development teams with local marketing initiatives.
  • Coordinate projects between regional stakeholders and VALD's global marketing team.
  • Assist with regional campaign execution.
  • Coordinate marketing assets, merchandise and promotional materials.
  • Support content, social media, community and partner marketing activities.
  • Maintain project timelines and communicate progress to stakeholders.
  • Assist with internal and external communications.

    Is this you?

    You are passionate about digital marketing, emerging technology and ideally the health, rehabilitation and/or sports performance industries. You enjoy combining creativity with data-driven decision making and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

    • 3-5+ years’ experience in events, marketing and project coordination or a related role.
    • Experience coordinating conferences, workshops and large-scale events.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
    • Strong organizational and project management capability.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Comfortable working across multiple time zones.
    • Willingness to travel regularly throughout North America.
