Please note that this is a contract role providing services to Microsoft through external staffing partners of Allegis Global Solutions. If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by AGS and will not be an employee of Microsoft.


Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and well-rounded software engineer to join a dynamic team dedicated to building highly scalable, automatable, and user-friendly solutions that combat cybercrime and protect customers at scale. In this role, you will apply the principles of computer science and mathematical analysis to design, develop, test, and evaluate software systems. You will take ownership of building custom CRM solutions and Power Pages-based solutions, writing clean and efficient code, deploying solutions to production, and collaborating closely with cross-functional team members in regular meetings. This is a hands-on engineering role that requires both technical depth and strong communication skills.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain custom CRM solutions tailored to business and security needs

  • Build user-intuitive Power Pages solutions designed for customer consumption

  • Write, review, and deploy production-quality code using C#

  • Create and manage build pipelines to support continuous integration and delivery

  • Attend and actively contribute to team meetings and technical discussions

  • Review and approve modifications to existing databases and database management systems

  • Direct database development and approve project scope and limitations

  • Review project requests to estimate time and cost required to accomplish objectives

  • Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard information against unauthorized access, damage, or disclosure

  • Approve, schedule, plan, and supervise the installation and testing of new products and system improvements

  • Develop standards and guidelines to govern software use, acquisition, and protection of sensitive information

  • Troubleshoot issues and implement system changes as needed to resolve them

  • Mentor junior team members and provide constructive performance feedback


Requirements:

  • 8–10 years of overall software engineering experience required

  • Minimum 3 years of experience developing custom CRM solutions

  • Minimum 3 years of experience coding in C#

  • Minimum 3 years of experience building user-intuitive Power Pages for customer consumption

  • Demonstrated history of stable, long-term employment — candidates with frequent job changes will not be considered

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a relevant field highly preferred

  • Strong proficiency in C# development

  • Hands-on experience developing custom CRM solutions

  • Demonstrated ability to build user-friendly Power Pages for customer-facing applications

  • Experience creating and managing build pipelines for CI/CD workflows

  • Strong knowledge of the full software development lifecycle including analysis, requirements gathering, development, testing, and delivery

  • Proficiency with database technologies including SQL and related tools

  • Strong ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement effective resolutions

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong ability to work independently and manage time effectively

  • Strong mentoring and interpersonal skills with the ability to provide constructive feedback

  • Solid understanding of computer hardware and software systems


Additional Details:

  • Location: Remote

  • Duration: 11 months

  • Pay Range*: $66.50 - $75.50 per hour

  • Weekly Schedule: 40 hours

  • Job Status: Non-Exempt
