Description:

  • Provide ongoing technical support for the Snowflake data warehouse environment.
  • Offer architectural guidance for the existing Snowflake platform.
  • Develop and assist with Snowflake-related solutions and enhancements.
  • Maintain the current platform and resolve technical issues as they arise.
  • Promote data management best practices across the data warehouse environment.
  • Support the expansion of Snowflake to additional data domains, business teams, and reporting solutions.
  • Troubleshoot Snowflake errors, performance issues, data-loading failures, and access problems.
  • Recommend corrective actions and preventative measures to reduce recurring issues.
  • Design scalable data structures as new data sources and subject areas are added.
  • Communicate technical and architectural recommendations to business and technology stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience.
  • Hands-on experience supporting and developing solutions within Snowflake.
  • Strong understanding of cloud data warehouse architecture, data modeling, and data integration.
  • Experience troubleshooting Snowflake errors, performance issues, data-loading failures, and access-related problems.
  • Ability to recommend corrective actions and preventative measures to reduce recurring issues.
  • Knowledge of data management, data quality, security, governance, and warehouse development best practices.
  • Experience developing or supporting Snowflake data feeds used by Tableau.
  • Strong SQL development and optimization skills.
  • Experience expanding Snowflake environments to support householding, customer, constituent, or account relationship data (preferred).
  • SnowPro Core Certification preferred.
