Job Summary

The Elite Job is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented QA Analyst to join our team during the night shift. As a QA Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our products and systems by identifying issues, running tests, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This is a fully remote role, ideal for self-driven individuals who thrive in a flexible work environment and can manage tasks independently with precision and accountability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, document, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

  • Perform manual and automated testing to validate product functionality, performance, and usability.

  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to troubleshoot and resolve defects.

  • Monitor system stability and performance during off-hours to ensure 24/7 application availability.

  • Document and report bugs clearly and accurately using the companys issue tracking tools.

  • Analyze and verify bug fixes and regression test to ensure issue resolution.

  • Assist in continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.

  • Participate in nightly deployment validation and monitoring.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.

  • Experience with testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, TestRail, or similar.

  • Familiarity with automation frameworks and scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript).

  • Exceptional attention to detail with a methodical and analytical mindset.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently during night hours and manage time efficiently.

Experience

  • Minimum of 2–3 years in a Quality Assurance or software testing role.

  • Experience in both manual and automated testing environments.

  • Prior experience in remote or asynchronous work environments is a plus.

Working Hours

  • Night Shift: 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM (your local time), Monday through Friday.

  • Flexibility may be required based on release schedules and team collaboration needs.

  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.

  • Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.

  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
