Job Summary

HR Service Jobs is seeking dedicated and compassionate Medical Attendants to join our partner hospitals In-Patient Department (IPD). This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who have completed their 12th grade and are looking to begin a stable and meaningful career in the healthcare industry. The role involves providing basic care and support to admitted patients, assisting nursing staff, and ensuring a clean and safe environment within the hospital.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist nurses and doctors in patient care routines

  • Help patients with daily hygiene such as bathing, feeding, grooming, and mobility

  • Support patients during medical examinations and treatment procedures

  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in patient rooms and wards

  • Monitor and report any changes in patient condition to nursing staff

  • Transport patients within hospital premises (e.g., from ward to diagnostic departments)

  • Handle basic medical equipment like wheelchairs, stretchers, and IV stands

  • Maintain patient comfort and attend to non-clinical needs

  • Maintain patient records as instructed

  • Follow hospital protocols and infection control procedures

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum qualification: 12th Pass (any stream)

  • Basic understanding of healthcare and hygiene practices

  • Ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with patients and families

  • Physically fit and able to stand or walk for long periods

  • Willingness to work in hospital settings and shifts

  • Basic record-keeping and note-taking skills

  • Fluency in local language; basic understanding of English is an advantage

Experience

  • Fresher candidates are welcome

  • Prior experience in hospital/clinical settings will be considered an advantage

  • On-the-job training will be provided for selected candidates

Working Hours

  • Full-time position with rotational shifts (Day/Night)

  • 6 days a week; 8 to 10 hours per shift

  • Overtime and emergency duty may be required as per hospital needs
