We’re looking for a Director of MarTech to serve as a senior, consultative multi-solution architect supporting modernization efforts across complex marketing technology ecosystems. This remote, contract-to-hire opportunity is ideal for a hands-on leader who can balance strategy, client advisory, and billable delivery while helping shape measurable outcomes for both B2B and B2C organizations.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Lead the design of scalable marketing technology architectures across multiple platforms and customer journey use cases.</li><li>Provide strategic guidance on CRM, CDP, marketing automation, journey orchestration, analytics, personalization, and data integration.</li><li>Act as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders on platform selection, roadmap planning, and solution tradeoffs.</li><li>Participate directly in client engagements through discovery, solutioning, workshops, demos, and executive presentations.</li><li>Partner with delivery teams to ensure implementations align with architecture, best practices, and business goals.</li><li>Support troubleshooting, escalation management, and course correction on complex MarTech initiatives.</li><li>Collaborate with sales and account teams on pursuits, proposals, estimates, and expansion opportunities.</li><li>Contribute to governance, operating model, and center of excellence planning for marketing technology programs.</li><li>Help develop repeatable solution patterns, accelerators, and internal best practices.</li><li>Maintain awareness of emerging MarTech trends and evolving platform capabilities.<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Skills<br><br></strong><ul><li>10+ years of experience designing, architecting, and delivering marketing technology solutions.</li><li>Strong hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Cloud, including Adobe Experience Platform, Journey Optimizer, Marketo Engage, Customer Journey Analytics, or related tools.</li><li>Working knowledge of non-Adobe platforms such as Salesforce, Braze, Iterable, or similar technologies.</li><li>Experience across both B2B and B2C environments.</li><li>Background in a digital agency or consultancy setting.</li><li>Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.</li><li>Strong understanding of governance, data stewardship, consent management, and measurement practices.</li><li>Proven ability to translate business needs into effective technical solutions and deliver measurable outcomes.</li><li>Comfort working in a consultative, client-facing role with direct delivery responsibilities.<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Preferred Skills<br><br></strong><ul><li>Experience shaping client strategies and advising on modernization of MarTech ecosystems.</li><li>Exposure to packaged offerings, accelerators, or repeatable solution frameworks.</li><li>Familiarity with partner collaboration and co-innovation efforts.</li><li>Ability to mentor architects and senior practitioners.</li><li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.<br><br><br></li></ul>We are committed to fostering a workplace where inclusion, belonging, and diverse perspectives are valued.
