Job Summary: 

The Elite Job is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to join our team at an entry level. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about data analysis and want to start their career in business intelligence. The BI Analyst will work closely with senior analysts and stakeholders to gather data, perform analyses, and generate actionable insights that drive business decisions. This role provides an excellent opportunity to develop foundational skills in data analytics and reporting while contributing to our organizations strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Collection and Analysis: Gather and analyze data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights. Use data visualization tools to present findings clearly.
  • Reporting: Create and maintain regular reports and dashboards that provide key business metrics and performance indicators. Ensure accuracy and timeliness in reporting.
  • Data Modeling: Assist in developing and maintaining data models to support business processes and decision-making. Understand and apply best practices in data management.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide analytical support. Communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Data Quality: Ensure data integrity and accuracy by performing routine data quality checks. Identify and resolve data discrepancies.
  • Trend Analysis: Monitor industry trends and market conditions to provide context for data findings and recommendations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and BI software (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). Basic understanding of data warehousing and ETL processes.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present data and insights in a clear and concise manner.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build effective working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.

Experience:

  • Experience Level: This is an entry-level position. Previous internship or academic experience in data analysis or business intelligence is a plus but not required.

Working Hours:

  • Schedule: Full-time position with standard working hours, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Flexibility may be required based on project deadlines and team needs.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge: Understanding of business processes and data analysis techniques. Familiarity with data visualization principles and tools.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R is an advantage.
