Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage government business opportunities in the assigned region.
  • Interface during Project Execution and assuming time-to-time Operations Responsibility as required.
  • To obtain Support from Head Office and work closely with Vertical Heads to ensure smooth functioning of Business Acquisition and Operations in BIHAR & JHARKHAND.
  • Role is based in PATNA, and necessary travels for Business Reasons/Operations Co-Ordinations are essential to complete the assigned tasks successfully.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with state/central government departments, municipal corporations, PSUs, and agencies.
  • Knowledge about the entire Sales cycle, along with Operations, is preferred: opportunity identification, proposal preparation, tender participation, and follow-ups, securing the Order and participating in operations for execution.
  • Ensure timely reporting and coordination with Head Office.
  • Provide market intelligence, competitor analysis, and business updates.
  • Support operations and execution of government projects when required.

Regional Focus

  • BIHAR & JHARKHAND: Working Experience with BIHAR & JHARKHAND Government Departments, BELTRON, NIC, PSUs, and other key Government bodies. Knowledge of other local languages for the respective regions, along with HINDI, is preferred.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Business/Management/Engineering.
  • 7–10 yrs experience in the government business in the local region.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement, tendering & empanelment.
  • Excellent communication (English/Hindi + regional preferred).
  • Good in analysis, proposals & negotiations.
  • Local candidate with strong govt. network.
  • Self-driven, with strong interpersonal skills.
